Empowering Learning through Human-Centered Design

At a Glance

I am an instructional designer focused on creating meaningful, performance-driven learning experiences. My work is grounded in real-world application, learner-centered design, and a commitment to building training that is clear, practical, and impactful.

My Design Philosophy

Empathy guides the way I approach instructional design. Before developing a learning experience, I take time to understand the people it is meant to support—their responsibilities, their pressures, and the environments in which they work. That understanding shapes how I define learning goals and how I design experiences that feel relevant, accessible, and grounded in the realities of practice.

I enjoy the creative process of instructional design because it allows me to find meaningful ways to connect with learners. Through thoughtful structure, storytelling, interaction, and reflection, I aim to create learning experiences that feel compelling and approachable—experiences that motivate learners to engage with the material and carry what they learn into their everyday work.

Instructional design is also deeply collaborative. I value working alongside subject-matter experts and organizational leaders, approaching those partnerships with curiosity, respect, and a genuine interest in understanding their perspectives. Through that shared process, expertise can be thoughtfully shaped into learning experiences that support learners while reflecting the goals and priorities of the organization.

At the same time, I remain a learner myself. Listening to feedback, observing how people interact with learning materials, and refining designs over time helps ensure that each learning experience continues to evolve in ways that better support the people it was created to serve.

Ultimately, my goal is to design learning experiences that help people feel capable, supported, and inspired to grow in their work.
