Empowered Learning: Bridging Purpose, Practice, and Performance
AI-Enhanced Clinical Trainer Development Pilot Design for High-Acuity Veterinary Teams

In this pilot design, I developed a structured, performance-driven approach to clinical trainer development for high-acuity veterinary environments. Working in collaboration with hospital leaders and frontline trainers, I designed a curriculum that integrates mobile-responsive microlearning, AI-supported coaching tools, and a consequence-based simulation to strengthen real-time instructional decision-making. By aligning learning science with the realities of clinical practice, I created a pilot model that establishes a scalable framework for consistent feedback practices, reduces bias in evaluation, and strengthens learner progression.

ADDIE-Driven Storyline 360 Module with Scenario-Based Learning

This interactive Storyline 360 and Rise prototype was one of my first full-cycle instructional design builds, developed using a comprehensive learner analysis and the ADDIE framework. Commissioned by a multi-specialty veterinary hospital, the module strengthens pharmacologic decision-making through scenario-based learning, interactive knowledge checks, and concept-driven application. Learners progress through sequenced modules that connect pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, regulatory compliance, and clinical reasoning directly to patient care.
This project reflects my early foundation in structured design, intentional learner alignment, and performance-focused assessment—ensuring knowledge translates into safer, more confident clinical practice.

Accessible Rise 360 Module for Inclusive Instructional Design

In this interactive Rise 360 module, I demonstrate my commitment to embedding accessibility and Universal Design principles into every stage of the instructional design process. I grounded the course in WCAG 2.1, POUR, UDL, and UDI frameworks and integrated captioned multimedia, structured Word documents, WCAG-compliant PowerPoint artifacts, and reflective checkpoints that model inclusive design across platforms. Rather than treating accessibility as an afterthought, I intentionally designed this learning experience to support equitable, learner-centered engagement from the beginning.

Supporting Media & Learning Assets
Explainer Video Created with Adobe Express
This is an example of an explainer video I created utilizing Adobe Express to foster engagement by transforming complex topics into approachable, easy-to-digest content. This video features calming visuals, a steady narrative pace, and clear explanations to reduce cognitive load. This allows learners to focus fully on the material. The use of relatable scenarios and intuitive design ensures the content feels accessible and relevant, while the pacing creates a stress-free learning experience. By combining visual appeal with practical insights, this video not only enhances retention but also builds confidence, empowering learners to apply their knowledge effectively in real-world situations.
Implementing a Behavior-Driven Leadership System

For this project, I developed an executive presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint commissioned by a fast-growing e-commerce company. In the presentation, I translated identified organizational performance gaps into measurable leadership competencies and observable critical behaviors.
I designed the solution to align clearly defined leadership behaviors with structured reinforcement drivers embedded within existing workflows, systems, and company resources to support sustainable implementation. Evaluation extends from learner-level skill demonstration to leading indicators tied to engagement and operational performance, positioning leadership development as a strategic performance system rather than a standalone training event.

Scenario-Based eLearning Slides

I created these interactive learning slides in Storyline 360 to engage the target audience through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios. These slides provide real-time feedback, overcoming the limitations of time constraints or trainer availability when compared to on-the-floor training.
Learners can refine their skills in a controlled environment where mistakes are low-risk and provide valuable, immediate insights, allowing skills to be developed safely and effectively. This immersive approach builds learners’ confidence and fosters a meaningful connection to the content, equipping them to excel in their roles with assurance and competence.
Storyline 360 Learner Assessment

I designed these learner assessments in Storyline 360, incorporating pre-assessments to align with Knowles’ assumption of adult learning, which values prior experience. These assessments serve as powerful tools to gauge initial knowledge, showcase understanding, and highlight the application of key concepts.
By providing tangible proof of progress and success, learners achieve milestones and meet clear objectives. This approach builds confidence and instills a sense of pride in accomplishments.
